The Violent Years
A girl gang robs, kidnaps and worse. Written by Ed Wood, which explains everything.
A juvenile-delinquent quickie written by Ed Wood, about a bored rich girl who leads an all-female gang on a spree of robbery, assault and worse, before the film pivots into a courtroom sermon about parental neglect. The Wood dialogue is as demented as you would hope.
It is cheap and strange in the specific way only Ed Wood could manage, and its lurid view of teenage girls run amok is pure 1950s panic. A minor curiosity, elevated by its author's inimitable ineptitude.
