Operation Kid Brother

The Eurospy cycle's most shameless gimmick: they cast Sean Connery's actual younger brother, Neil, and built an entire Bond parody around the resemblance. Neil Connery plays a plastic surgeon and hypnotist drafted to stop a criminal organisation, and the film even hires several actual Bond-film supporting players to complete the joke.

It is exactly as thin as that premise suggests, coasting entirely on the novelty of the name. As an artifact of how far producers would go to imply a Bond connection, it is fascinating; as a film, less so.

A curiosity, and a monument to Eurospy opportunism.
