Kilink Istanbul'da

Turkey's canon so far is all unlicensed remakes of Hollywood; this is the other Yeşilçam, the homegrown pulp that swiped a character instead of a whole film. Kilink is a master criminal in a painted-on skeleton suit, lifted straight from the Italian fumetti neri, scheming and murdering his way across Istanbul. Yılmaz Atadeniz shoots it fast, cheap and gleefully amoral, and it hit hard enough to trigger an immediate run of sequels, one of which pits Kilink against a Turkish flying superhero.

This is where Turkish exploitation stops copying posters and starts printing its own.
