Mountain of the Cannibal God
The cannibal cycle in a dinner jacket, ex-Bond girl and real animal deaths included.
This is the cannibal film with a budget and a cast list, the one where an actual Bond girl walks into the jungle. Ursula Andress and Stacy Keach lead an expedition through New Guinea after her missing husband, and Sergio Martino shoots the trek with real widescreen gloss before delivering every degradation the genre demands. It is better made than Cannibal Holocaust and much less interested in defending itself. It also kills several animals on camera for real, including the usual python-and-monkey footage, so know that going in. Andress reportedly took the part for the money and the location, and both are visibly on screen.

Turkey Shoot
The budget vanished mid-shoot and they kept going. Chaotic, mean, fun.
SS Experiment Camp
A DPP video nasty far better known for its poster than for anything in the film.
Zombie Holocaust
Cannibals and zombies at once, reusing the Zombi 2 sets and cast.
Cannibal Apocalypse
Vietnam veterans as cannibals. Sillier and kinder than the jungle cycle.
Man from Deep River
The one that started it, by remaking A Man Called Horse in Thailand.
Contamination
Alien via Rome, with exploding chests and a Goblin score doing heavy lifting.
