Werewolves on Wheels

Exactly what it says, at half the pace you want.

Exactly what the title promises, delivered at about half the pace you want. A biker gang runs afoul of a satanic cult, and one of them is cursed to transform into a werewolf, and the film alternates long stretches of aimless riding with occasional bursts of horror and the occult.

It is more atmospheric and druggy than its ridiculous premise suggests, with a genuine early-70s haze, but the pacing tests the patience. The concept is better than the execution, which is often the way in this cycle.

A midnight curiosity, best appreciated for its title and its mood.
