She-Devils on Wheels

Herschell Gordon Lewis, the man who invented the splatter film, points his camera at an all-female biker gang called the Man-Eaters and casts it with an actual women's motorcycle club, so the riding is real and the acting is a hostage situation. Between meetings they line the local men up like a buffet, brand the winners with a hot iron, and go to war with a rival gang, all of it building toward a length of piano wire strung across a road at neck height. Lewis being Lewis, the wire pays off exactly the way you fear. It is cheap, amateur and often barely a film, chanting its own theme song ('Get off the road!') like a threat. A curio for the night the gore man met the real thing.
