Run and Kill

A drunk man accidentally orders a hit on his own wife, and it is all downhill from there.

A miserable, henpecked everyman gets blackout drunk, drops money with some gangsters to have his cheating wife killed, and sobers up to find they took the order seriously. From there Billy Tang stops finding it funny and starts finding it appalling, dragging his hapless lead into the orbit of a psychopathic mainland killer and a run of setpieces the Hong Kong censors barely let through. It contains, among other things, a child burned alive, staged with a cruelty that has kept it near the top of every nastiest-Cat-III list for thirty years. Expertly made and thoroughly nasty. One of the hardest sits Cat III has to offer.
