Herschell Gordon Lewis, the man who put on-screen dismemberment in front of an audience in the first place, signs off with his reddest and most tasteless picture, a dandyish detective hunting whoever is butchering the go-go dancers of a sleazy club. Every murder is an escalating gore gag played for a punchline, up to and including the notorious bit where a slashed dancer bleeds ordinary milk from one breast and chocolate milk from the other. Henny Youngman wanders through it firing one-liners as the club owner.
