Blue Sunshine

A cult horror-thriller with one of the great exploitation hooks: a strain of LSD called Blue Sunshine, taken a decade earlier, causes its users, now respectable adults, to lose their hair and their minds and turn murderous. A man wrongly accused of a killing races to expose the connection.

Jeff Lieberman directs it as genuine paranoid horror, and the premise, the sins of the drug decade coming due on the establishment that took them, gives it real bite. Uneven but memorable, and unlike anything else.
