Girl Boss Guerilla

Norifumi Suzuki at full throttle. A female biker gang rolls into Kyoto and muscles in on the local rackets, and the film is a breathless mix of brawls, nudity and genuine visual flair. Reiko Ike is the magnetic gang leader, and Suzuki shoots the whole thing with more energy than the budget suggests.

It is exploitation with real style, and Suzuki's compositions and pacing lift it above the standard delinquent picture. The tonal swerves, comedy to brutality and back, are characteristic of the cycle.

A representative and highly watchable entry in Toei's pinky violence line.
