Spanish, incoherent and gleefully deranged. A chainsaw killer assembles a human jigsaw from murdered coeds on a Boston campus, and the film lurches between wildly-dubbed melodrama, gratuitous gore and non-sequiturs (the infamous out-of-nowhere kung fu attack) with no regard for sense. Bastard, bastard.

It is inept and completely committed, and the sheer randomness has made it a midnight favourite. The final shot is a jaw-dropper that comes from nowhere and explains nothing.

A masterpiece of the so-wrong-it-works school. Watch it with a crowd.
