Supervixens

Russ Meyer's most commercially successful film of the 70s, a coast-to-coast tall tale in which a gas-station attendant framed for a murder he did not commit drifts through a landscape of enormous women all named Super-something. Charles Napier plays the psychotic cop who sets it all off, and the bathtub killing that kicks the plot into gear is startlingly vicious for what is otherwise a live-action cartoon. Shari Eubank plays both the murdered wife and the SuperVixen of the finale, because Meyer never met a bit of symmetry he could resist. It is fast-cut, tongue-in-cheek and completely shameless, and it made more money than any Meyer film before it.
