A voracious bush-pilot's wife in the Canadian wilderness works her way through everyone in sight, and Meyer plays the whole thing with his usual energetic editing and tongue firmly in cheek. Erica Gavin is a genuine screen presence.
It was hugely profitable and helped establish that explicit content could play mainstream theatres, a commercial turning point. Under the sex is Meyer's typical mix of satire and cartoon appetite.
Historically significant softcore, made with more craft than the genre required.
