The comedy that ended the cycle by making it impossible to take seriously again. A lazy gunslinger and his outlaw brother reluctantly defend a Mormon settlement, and the film plays every spaghetti-western convention for laughs, from the squinting standoffs to the beans.
Terence Hill and Bud Spencer became a huge draw as the mismatched brothers, and the film was enormous across Europe. It is funny and affectionate about the genre it is dismantling.
