Love Camp 7

The film that invented nazisploitation six years before Ilsa made it a genre.

Before Ilsa, before the Italian cycle, there was this. Lee Frost and producer Bob Cresse assembled the entire nazisploitation template in 1969 and then sat on it for years while nobody noticed what they had. Two Allied women volunteer to be planted inside a Nazi officers' pleasure camp to extract a captured scientist, which is the plot's whole interest in plot. What it actually is is a roughie in uniform, grim and cheap and built to do one thing, with Cresse himself playing the commandant with visible relish. The importance is entirely historical, and it is a thoroughly miserable ninety minutes to sit through.
